Sourcing
Growers are visited, not emailed. We buy a season ahead and accept the harvest we are given — a difficult rose year changes the composition, and we let it.
About us
Pak Arabian Enterprises® has been bottling eau de parfum by hand since 2019 — one room, a maceration cabinet, and materials bought straight from the growers who raise them.
Purity you can trust.
Pak Arabian began in a single room in Sadiqabad with a set of brass funnels, a maceration cabinet, and a conviction that the East had been supplying the world’s great houses with raw material for centuries without ever signing its own name to the bottle.
Owner & CEO
“A fragrance should not announce you at the door. It should be the reason someone turns around after you have already passed.”
We began sourcing directly — oud from the Laos highlands, rose from the Valley of Roses, orris from Florentine growers who wait three years before the root is even touched. No middlemen, no reconstituted shortcuts.
Every composition macerates for a minimum of eight weeks before it is filtered. It is the slowest, least commercial step in perfumery, and it is the reason our openings never smell like alcohol.
We release four to six compositions a year. Each one has to earn its place in the library, or it does not leave the bench. Restraint is the whole discipline.
2019
Abdul Rafey begins compounding in a single room in New Town, Sadiqabad. The first four formulas are given away to friends for a year before anything is sold.
2021
The house stops buying through distributors. First direct contracts are signed for Laotian oud and Khorasan saffron.
2022
A temperature-held cabinet is built to hold eight weeks of stock at sixteen degrees. Output halves. Quality does not.
2024
Noir Ambre, Oud Majeste and Musc Sacre are formalised as the house canon — the three accords everything else is measured against.
2026
The full library opens online, shipped nationwide from Sadiqabad in small numbered batches.
01
We would rather sell out than scale a formula past the point where one person can still check every bottle.
02
Synthetics are used deliberately — for longevity, for materials that cannot be ethically harvested — never to cheapen a heart note.
03
When the label reads Eau de Parfum, the oil load matches it. No eau de toilette sold at parfum pricing.
04
We are not importing a French markup. You pay for the materials and the time, not for a boulevard address.

A formula begins as forty materials and ends as nineteen. The work is subtraction. Trials are numbered, dated, and set aside for weeks before being smelled again.
The concentrate marries with the alcohol in darkness at a steady sixteen degrees. Nothing is stirred, nothing is hurried. The harshness leaves on its own.
Chilled below zero, then passed through a fine filter to lift any wax the naturals left behind. It is what makes the liquid read as clear as water in the bottle.
Filled, crimped and weighed one at a time. Each bottle is checked against a reference sample before its collar goes on. Batches are small enough to count.
Wrapped in unbleached tissue, sealed with wax, and boxed in board pressed from recycled cotton. The unboxing is the first minute of the fragrance.
